Sharing the Warrington Catchment area with another X-League Club, they occupy the Western side of the town and play out of Crosfields Recreation Club, home of NCL1 side, Crosfields A.R.L.F.C.
they are organised and coached by a committee of their regular players and advertise themselves as “Warrington’s #1 Social Rugby team”, with an emphasis on fun and inclusion at their training sessions.
Warrington Titans originally formed and a Touch Rugby Team many years ago but upon hearing about X-League decided to pursue that route instead as the team and players they had all missed the feeling of Rugby League that Touch Rugby just doesn’t seem to emulate. After a short hiatus in 2022, Titans re-grouped and re-formed and are now back and attracting some great sponsors along the way too!
Although fun, social and inclusive rugby is their brand, this doesn’t make them any less talented than other top teams in X-League circles. at the 2021 Festival of World Cups Warrington Titans not only had two players selected to represent England, but they were also made Captain and Vice Captain too! (See picture below). they also had 5 of their team selected for England trials this year (2023).
Warrington Titans train on Wednesday evenings 7-8pm and Saturday mornings 9-10am.
